Paul Battye
Paul Battye is founding Chief Executive of Moorlands Human Capital. He has a wealth of experience working with scheme sponsors, consultants, asset managers and trustees to recruit and develop senior executives, rainmakers and pensions industry thought leaders.
Paul maintains an extensive network of contacts within the pensions and investment world and considerable knowledge of recruitment trends and the changing human capital requirements of UK Pensions. He has spoken at various industry conferences on recruiting, retaining and rewarding the top professionals in a competitive market for talent.
Over the past 10 years he has worked with 60% of the UK’s top 100 Pension Funds and 30% of the top 100 European Pension Funds, as well as consultants, asset managers and independent trustees. Paul’s focus is helping organisations to attract and retain the best talent in the pensions and investment industry.
Paul has a degree in Politics & History and qualified as a Psychometric practitioner in 2008. Since then he has worked with corporate and trustee boards looking at increasing effectiveness.
Steve Delo – Chairman
Steve Delo
Steve Delo is the Non-Executive Chairman of Moorlands Human Capital.
A prominent pensions/investment industry leader and entrepreneur, Steve has built successful businesses in both asset management and pensions. He is a popular conference speaker and was recently named as one of the 50 most influential people working in pensions today.
He was the President of the Pensions Management Institute from 2007 to 2009 and is Chief Executive of leading trustee firm, PAN Governance. Prior to this, he was co-founder and Managing Director of a multiple award winning investment management business.
Steve’s experience spans scheme management, consulting, investment consulting, asset management, general management and trusteeship. He is chair of trustees for several UK pension funds and writes regular columns for two pensions and investment journals, including Engaged Investor.
In his career, Steve has won three major awards – Business Presenter of the Year, Pensions Personality of the Year and Independent Trustee of the Year.
Robert Branagh – Director

Robert Branagh is a Director of Moorlands Human Capital.
Well known in the pensions industry, Robert is recognised as one of its top business leaders, achieving impressive results across multiple disciplines. He is currently the Managing Director – Administration for leading third party administrator, rpmi. His career spans some 25 years and he has a wealth of senior management experience in audit, consultancy, pensions administration, operational management, sales and marketing.
He is a sought after speaker and contributor to the financial press. He is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute and sits on various industry boards, including the Retirement Policy Council of the National Association of Pension Funds.
